Dear Madeline,

Your daddy and I have just returned from trying to visit you in Oklahoma.  I'm so sorry that we missed you. 

Your Aunt Amelia sent some of her toy horse models for you to play with.  We also brought a lot of photo albums so you could see pictures of you daddy when he was a little boy.

Your Aunt Eleanor was looking forward to seeing you and showing you all of her pets.  She has a chick with a bushy black and white "hat" on its head. 


Your Aunt Erin and Aunt Jalene, and your cousins Finn and River, were also looking forward to playing with you.

This is your Aunt Amelia.  She's almost 8 years old.

This is your Aunt Eleanor, she's 15 years old.

This is your Aunt Erin, she's 27 and is graduating from California State University, Long Beach, next December with a degree in Marine Biology.  She likes to Kayak and Scuba Dive.

This is your Aunt Jalene with her family.  Scott is her husband and he is holding Finn, who is now 3 years old.  Jalene is holding River, and she's 2 years old.  Amelia is standing with them in the hen yard.
